Product Suite
BGP International’s patented Biomass Gasification process is a proprietary method for the rendering of agricultural biomass waste (e.g. mortality, manure, slaughter house, pathological waste and sludge) into sterile contaminant free material that can be reclaimed as fertilizer or building material and used for energy production.
Our on Farm solution is recognized as the leading environmental system available anywhere by the Farm Pilot Project Council (FPPC) a non-profit organization used by the United States Department of Agriculture.
Extensive testing completed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ARCADIS and URS have concluded that air emissions from BGP units meet Clean Air standard in the United States and United Kingdom in addition to 100% eradication of all microbes.
Continuous Feed Systems
BGP International’s new generation of continuous feed biomass gasifiers have been developed to both reduce the biomass waste into an inert ash and generate energy. The continuous feed cycle enables the opportunity to harness the heat to generate electricity and/or steam for the farm. Farmers have the ability to cut some if not all of the utility costs to sustain the farm itself.
Continuous feed systems represent an enhancement upon our original batch fed gasification technology. This system has been proven to be highly effective in dealing with mortality, sludge wastes resultant from manures and mushroom substrate. Using a continuous feed configuration requires only a small electrical feed to drive the augers.
Once the initial ignition occurs and the needed temperature level is achieved the inherent energy content within the biomass waste itself will continuously sustain the gasifiation process. At this point there is no longer any need for an auxiliary fuel input.
Bio Energy Generation
- Energy is generated through the use of an Organic Rankin or steam turbine.
- The continuous feed process provides reclaimed heat that can also be utilized to:
- Heat the pens
- Cook the food (feedlots), Boil water
- Drying of waste materials to ensure proper moisture content
- Replace most if not all the utility costs to sustain the farm itself
- In larger systems where additional electricity is generated BGP can support the brokering of agreements with local power authorities to sell additional capacity to the power grid.
Mobile Systems
BGP International’s mobile systems can be engineered to scale based on specific requirements and are targeted at providing governmental agencies, governing bodies and responsible industry with a readiness measure to the effects of natural disasters, animal disease outbreak and as a counter terrorism measure.
The key factors that make our mobile unit best suited at disaster response are:
- Simplicity of its operation
- Ease of transport
- Readiness
- Self-sufficiency
- Elimination of any need for off-site transport of contaminants
Capacity
Each mobile systems throughput is capable of eliminating up to 25 tons daily of biomass and deployed anywhere in the country within hours. A contingent of six systems could be transported to a site to enable a total capacity of 150 tons daily.
Flexibility
BGP Mobile systems are designed to use any of the readily available auxiliary fuels such as propane, natural gas and diesel. The system can effectively handle smaller loads with ease because of our patented dual chamber design. The primary chamber can remain dormant while the secondary chamber is in operation. Alternatively, one chamber can be used to manage one type of biomass waste while the other is used to deal with an entirely different waste mass.
Systems are capable of dealing with biomass wastes that vary in type and source; from those that are very wet to very dry without the need for operator intervention for each new waste mass.
Readiness
BGP Mobile systems can easily be transported by road on a low-boy trailer and deployed anywhere in the country within hours. All ancillary equipment such as macerators would be accompanied separately.

Batch Systems
Batch fed system have been engineered primarily for use as a fuel efficient on-farm on site solutions to manage mortality on individual production farms, airports and Municipality animal control.
Batch fed systems are also well suited for safe, economical disposal in animal shelters and hospitals. Batch systems eliminate the need for potentially diseased carcasses being hauled through communities to distant landfills. Further land previously condemned for burial sites can be reclaimed eliminating the risks of ground water contamination and eliminates the risk of spread disease. Batch system owners will also benefit from there being NO smoke and NO odor spewed into the air from using the system.
The process completes leaving only a 3-5% residual inert white ash that is sterile and can be reclaimed by the farmer to generate an additional revenue stream. The residual ash can be recycled for use as:
- Cleanox a road builder ingredient
- Fertilizer / PotashBatch fed systems have few moving parts and are both safe and easy to operate making them highly reliable and cost effective with minimum maintenance requirements.
